Daimler SP250 Restoration

This is the story of car # 102631, a 1961 Daimler SP250. It was built on the 4th January 1961, and delivered to Lyons Motors in Singapore in July that year. It was subsequently imported into Australia in 1974, and taken off the road and dismantled for repairs sometime in 1975. Unfortunately the repairs were only partially completed, and the car remained in this state for over 40 years, until it was acquired by the current owner in September 2016.

Follow its journey from a dusty shed in Arcadia in the far north of Sydney, to Kareela in the southern suburbs of Sydney, where over the course of the next 7 years it was slowly brought back to its former glory.
